* Unemployment up, America down: The government is reporting unemployment at 6.1%, which in reality probably means 15-20%. The boys in Washington, among other things, can't count very well.
* Home foreclosures at record high: Welcome to BushWorld, where the term "Home Sweet Home" takes on a whole new meaning.
* Financial institutions falling faster than Bush's popularity rating: The newest to announce troubles, Lehman Brothers. Ma, get me the mattress, would ya?
* The Iraqi War, a total disaster, is still being taunted by the government as a success. I wonder what they consider some of their failures?
* Everyone acts surprised that the oil and gas industries have had the best eight years of their existence. Any wonder?
This list could go on and on concerning the screwing we're taking. Add a couple you can think of. It helps to get it out of your system.

No wonder here. With two oil men in the White House, what should one expect?
The whole thing is scary. I don't believe McCain is anywhere close to winning. At least I don't want to believe that. This is a do or die deal. We can't take 4 more years of this. People have to vote, although sometimes it hardly seems worth it. I still can't believe we let them get away with the election in 2000. I have nightmares about it. My unconscious mind can't come to terms with it. An Obama win in 2008 would sure help my sleep.
